THE MURMU MANGO FLORA HONEY:

As the forest flowering season comes to an end, In the month of March every year the wild honey bees of the forest are forced to migrate. The time corresponds with the mango flowering season. The irresistible fragrance of the ‘Manjar’ (mango flowers) enchants the wild bees from the forest to make hives on the mango trees. The bees collect nectar and pollen to create honey which is smooth & have sweet floral notes. One must remember that honey doesn’t come from the mango fruits so it doesn’t taste like the fruit but its definitely the king oh honeys.

The honey is not overly sweet and does possess the aroma of mango flowers. The taste is complex with the perfect blend of Mango pollen and nectar.

THE LOCATION: THE DOOARS

The Dooar region of India which literally means 'doors' in Assamese, Bengali, Maithili, Bhojpuri, and Magahi languages stretches from the Teesta River in West Bengal to the Dhansiri River in Assam. Dooars is indeed the gateway to the Himalayan Mountains.
